Longer life
No substance on this site has been shown to extend human life. Studies in people measure short-term signs, such as blood results.
First, legal options with stronger studies
- Regular physical activity, including strength and endurance work.
- Not smoking.
- Treating high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes with a doctor.
- Check-ups recommended for your age, sleep, and time with other people.
What studies found for specific substances
Sorted alphabetically. Order does not imply a recommendation.
- DEpitalon
Fruit flies lived 11% to 16% longer. There are no studies with random groups in people.
- DMOTS-c
Mouse studies only. Papers tagged as studies with random groups measure MOTS-c in blood and do not give it to people.
- ENAD+
A 2026 review found no study of the effects of NAD+ itself given by drip or injection. Studies test NMN and NR, which the body turns into NAD+, and their results on health are mixed or show no effect.
- CNMN
Studies are short and measure NAD in blood or fitness tests, not ageing. One found better muscle response to insulin and another found no change.
- CRapamycin
Mice clearly lived longer. Studies in people are short, measure indirect signs and show no steady benefit.
